Self Portrait

Portrait of Henry the Ninth
Media: Paper and paint on canvas
The techniques that was used was that I took a photo of me from Facebook, printed it in black and white, painted the canvas before gluing the photo on it, then glued it on, and then painted the photo. I chose blue and red because both of them are my favourite colours. Blue is suppose to represent good while red represents bad. I feel that everyone has both go0d and bad in them.
I liked that I used blue and red as the main colours and I liked using the media because it dawned on me pretty quickly how special this was. The thing I would like to change is that I wish I hadn't painted my glasses.

Peace Art For Peace Week

Reflection
Media: Watercolour on paper
The techniques I used was that I drew the lines for the picture first, then used ink for outlining, and then used watercolour paints to fill it in.
I liked the reflection of the water showing the bird while in real life it is a bomb and I loved that city in the background. The thing I would like to change is that I could have used a different colour for the sky because it makes it hard to see the bomber that's suppose to be in the sky.

Gargoyle

Metallica Fan Monster
Media: Clay with glaze.
The process I used was that I made it out of clay then put it in the kiln to heat it up and then I used bright red glaze to paint it. The techniques I used was that I used a garlic press for making the hair, I put the tongue in after I made the mouth, and I used a toothpick for writing the name Metallica and adding a lightning bolt.
I liked adding the Metallica logo on it because I thought my monster looked like a heavy metal fan and I liked working with clay as a medium. The thing I would like to change is that I would've painted the eyes with white glaze because it makes it more realistic.

Monster-A-Day

The Neo-Reaper
Media: Pastel on paper
The media I used was that I used pastel. The technique I used was that I used my finger for smudging the pastel on the right to create a shadow.
I liked the fact that it looks amazingly cool and I liked using the pastel because it felt different compared to my pencil work. The thing I would like to change is that I would have added red on the blade.
 The Dell-o
Media: Watercolor on Paper
The techniques I used was that I used watercolour and decided to make it a jello possessed by the devil. It took me two days and two classes to finish it.
I liked that it looks ghoulish and that it's red. The thing I would like to change is that I should have made the fingers a bit more like claws.
 George Gargoyle
Media: Watercolor on paper
The techniques I used was that I used watercolour and traced with a pencil a photo of a Gargoyle statue.  I first started painting the head, then I did the ears, the body came after that, then wings, and finally added the red background.
I liked that the face looks a bit realistic and that the bat ears are done creatively. I would like to add the arms because all gargoyles have arms!
 Neo-Reaper (Watercolor version)
Media: Same as before.
The techniques I used was that I did another picture of the Neo-Reaper but with watercolour. So I used black and red watercolours and came up with this. I used a lot of water to apply the paint. I used a thinner brush for the blood stain on the blade.
I liked that the face was at least intimidating I liked the robe was black. I would like to fix the entire picture though because I thought the first one was better.
